Ana Ivanovic, born in Belgrade, Yugoslavia (now Serbia), 6 November 1987; age 24 years) is a professional tennis player. On June 9, 2008 Ivanovic became one ranked women players in the world after winning the French Open title after beating Dinara Safina in the final. Ivanovic has played in three Grand Slam finals, the 2007 French Open, defeated by Justine Henin, the French Open 2008 (champion) and the 2008 Australian Open, defeated by Maria Sharapova. Ivanovic also reached the semifinals of Wimbledon 2007 and the Women's Tennis Association Tour Championships in 2007.
