France squad for Euro 2012

French national team coach, Laurent Blanc, today announced the 23 names that will be brought to the Euro 2012. Of the 26 players that came before them, Blanc has crossed two names that Yoann Gourcuff and Mapou yanga-Mbiwa. One name again, Loic Remy, should put an end to his dream of competing in the Poland-Ukraine because of injury.


Gourcuff Blanc had returned because he did not appear convincing 3-2 win over France at Iceland. Les Bleus just able to position and scored the winning goal after the former AC Milan player was pulled out.


While yanga-Mbiwa had been predicted will be excluded from the squad. In addition to inexperience, the captain of Montpellier was originally called only to fill the place of the injured Younes Kaboul.

Losing three players are certainly not going to reduce the power of France at Euro 2012. That's because the 23 names that exist, there is still a lot of star players like Franck Ribery, Karim Benzema, Samir Nasri, Hatem Ben Arfa, Philippe Mexes, et al.

France still has two scheduled a friendly against Serbia (May 31) and Estonia (June 4) before starting the action in Group D against England on June 11.
