Confederation of African Football (CAF) introduced the official ball to be used in this month's African Nations Cup, adidas Comoequa.
The name of the ball taken from the Como River which divides the two countries host the tournament, Gabon and Equatorial Guinea. Ball using bright yellow as a symbol of African culture is very alive. The color of the second flag of the host country also decorate the center panel ball.
Comoequa using the same construction as the Tango 12, the official ball of Euro 2012, and became the third ball produced by adidas for the African Cup since 2008.
Mentioned ball is not too light nor too small because it is tailored to the official FIFA standards and tested using sophisticated devices in Herzogenaurach.
Africa Cup of Nations will begin January 21 until February 12.
