Noel Gallagher on several occasions called himself very idolized Lionel Messi. If the fate line directs himself as a footballer, Oasis frontman was sure he would like Messi.
The statement asked Noel when he held a concert in Argentina, a few days ago. In front of the audience in attendance, he calls himself has some similarities with Messi.
"If I were a football player, then I will become like Messi," said Noel as reported Mundodeportivo.
"He grew up in the streets and so one of the best football player. There are rich kids, who came out of nowhere, and people like me can feel recognized, because I did not come from nowhere," the British musician.
In a statement later, Noel also said that Argentina had the world's two best players Messi and Diego Maradona. With the name of the latter, Noel has been met directly at Etihad Stadium, while Manchester City beat Manchester United 1-0.
Being a City fan, Noel also admire the talents of players from Argentina. That's because at The Citizens there are two members of the squad 'Tango' who became the pillars of the Carlos Tevez and Sergio Aguero.
"If Maradona was a musician, I would say if he would become a famous celebrity with the band Oasis," complete Noel.
